VISIT FROM A NYC MARATHON RECORD HOLDER

I have had the privilege of being friends with Runar Gundersen for nearly 2 years now.
He joined my Facebook group for the 2013 race and has been a source of information ever since.
Most importantly a great friend.
Runar holds the record of 36 for the most times that the NYC Marathon has been run by an international runner. He is from Drammen in Norway.
He decided to come and visit us here in Radelaide over the Adelaide Cup long weekend.
Runar arrived in our fair city on Friday and Mum, Denine and I took him to The Strathmore Hotel in town for a steak. We then went for a walk along the Torrens and then down to Gluttony- part of the Fringe Festival.
On Saturday we all met at Henley for coffee and then ice-cream and then lunch.
Was such a great day.
Tomorrow- Lofty.
