Barossa Marathon Festival 5km

No running for 3 weeks due to being in Tassie. Crap excuse but back to run the 5 in the Barossa. Back to the out and back course this year.
A big tough but finished- and not much worse than Greenbelt.

Run #2 Back from injury

1 mile

Bruising from Ruptured Plantar Fascia.

First pic is taken 1-2 days before second. 
This was about 5 days after I did this. 

Run #1 back from injury

Demoralising to be starting back at 1 km but it went ok. 

Test walk 18 days after injury

Went out for 1 km and did a bit more. Foot went ok.

Knife Hands Sprints #3- where it all went wrong

Once again- writing retrospectively.
Headed for boot camp and my new found love of barefoot sprint intervals in the park. 
Hotties all around training. Came around the bend for my second last sprint. Half way down felt my something go horribly wrong on bottom of foot. Knew that next step something would happen. And it did- you could have heard it on the moon. Snapped my plantar fascia. 
End of session and end of barefoot running in the park. I had just gotten quite fit. This was going to reverse all my work.

Knife Hands Sprints #1

I write this retrospectively. I decided to try  running in bare feet on the grass before boot camp. It felt amazing and I really got some speed.
